the clouds were my favourte bit *^_^*

final box

ok so this is the final version of the box that we came up with its still frightingly pink but thats ok. The presentation of it whent quite well also tho my weak attempts at photoshop have shamed me compared to the rest of the class(damn graphics students) still it could be worse. At least everything was done this time rather than it all being last minute like the last project.
Illustration is going better too now that I have got over the break up properly. From this distance it does seem that being appart is better for us both we were only hurting each other and now i dont have that irritating distraction I'm much more focused. And can play golf with my dad at the weekend.
Oh I also got a new job so money isnt quite so awful as before when I was out of work, but i have got two parking fines in the space of a month I'm sure life is just trying to keep me on my knees for a bit longer *sigh* Nevermind it will be ok eventually.

boxes

this is the primary colours (for some reason that word does not look like English to me but my brian is having it spelt no other way...wierd) net it shows the general outlay of the castle and stuff.
I got so sick of pink by the end of this. It was driving me daft, but it kept me from dwelling on the stuff going wrong in my everyday life. You can't dwell when you dont have the time.

box design

Right so this is the box designs. I'm not a wiz at photshop so its the best were gonna get at the moment but I think its ok. This is the primary box net with the name on. We decided to call it Perfect Princess. Chris wanted something like Princess gems or Princess jewles but they were all alredy taken so I chose this instead and it seemed to go down well.

carry on anyway

Ok, so I'm working with Chris and Becca on a new cerial brand packaging and everything. As Becca and I are the more artistic of the three of us we are going to design the product. Chris being the more technically minded is doing the market research. She is looking at different kinds of cerial. Who its aimed at and what they are attempting to provide people. You know like there nutritional values and salt and sugar content. The things your only ever interested in if you have kids, diabetes or can no longer fit in your favourate pants.
We have decided to aim our cerial at little girls between the ages of 4 and dead. Because lets face it what female doesnt want a cut out castle and a doll with changeble party dresses. Its like asking any man what would they do if they saw an unatended football.
So I will be doing the box with the castle design and the name and stuff and Becca is going to do the doll and dresses on the back.
We decided to do cut out toys and possible box tokens instead of having something inside the box like when we were little. Which is a shame really because it was one of the fun things about breakfast. It probably got vetoed by health and safety regulations. Bloody Nazis.

New Project

Ok
So this project is about breakfast cerial. I was going to try to work with Imogen and Helen, but they were already happy with there group from last time. Not surprising there cards went really well. I didn't really want to work with the textiles girls again. They were nice, but not exactly reliable at turning up. You cant really do a group project if most of your group is never there. So I asked if I could work with Christine and Rebecca. Who were nice and said I could.
So, Yeah Breakfast cerial hmm.
Well it's been a while since I last did any of this. I'm not very good at keeping up to date with things.
Ok.
So my last project mentioned was the christmas decorations, which turned out to be a huge flop. They kept getting mistaken for jewlrey and frankly who is going to buy decorations after christmas? Nice idea not entirely viable. Nevermind.
The group I worked with were ok but they all already knew each other and therefore got together to do things without me. Not intentionally, I dont think, but because it was easier. So we finnished the project and ended up with quite a bit of randomly mismatched decorations, who knows maybe they will sell better next year.
