What do you think it means to be human?
This is what I'm asking people on facebook, hopefully, but I don't know how to use the thing. I'm going to ask on wendnesday so expect it. This is for my latest project the dewy decimal project.

ok so this is my third poster for my issues and beliefs brief. I have created four in this style but the others are a bit more disturbing so im not going to upload them. this one was looking more at how phone comercials try to attract you. Mainly I was thinking about the iphone and the app adverts.

God, today's been awfull. Em lost her baby, I was just getting uesd to the thought of being an aunt. Then she start's hemoraging like crazy, her falopean tube ruptured, nasty. I'm lucky I still have a baby sister. Still at least now we know she isnt pregnant anymore, they couldn't tell for the past week if she had lost it when she went into hospital last time bleading because of the cists. Em really has the worst problems with her reproductive system. I hope things will be better from now on.

beads (still)

Yeah so still making beads. I hope there ok I dont think im really very good at this. The other girls in my group seem to know what there doing more than I do. I think their's are much better. I bought a big bag of spangly decorations and sequins, the only problem being that the spangly decorations dont have hooks to attach them together and they are only spangly on one side. So if im going to have them spangly on both sides im going to have to stick them together. I'm thinking double sided tape. possibly glue gun if that fails but thats something i can find out tomorrow as today has not really been a good day. However if I make cages around the little gem thingies they dangle quite well. Then its just making the cages thats difficult. The thinner bead wire is good for this, it is fiddly tho. The sequins are fun considering that most of the re-cycled beads are quite dull, the sequins are all sparkly and eye catching but it might be better to take them in for the others to look at before I make many more.
The ribbon is akward as well. its difficult to thread the beads on to, but it does look pretty good.

Aaggh... bloody beads driving me daft. So the decorations are coming along ok, but it is still a little difficult, as its kind hard to put everything together. Beads are really akward. I'll stick up some pics of my beads when there done and i find my camera.
Anyway so I have been looking at how other shops and sellers of christmas decorations are selling their products. It seems that mainly in large stores like Tesco, Asda, Wilkinsons and and large chian stores like pound shops are selling there christmas decorations very easily, in groups and packs at quite a cheap price. However looking at the smaller stall's in shopping centres. The decorations on those are quite expensive. Yet the things that they are selling are often single decorations or smaller groups of decorations, such as two for five pounds.
True they are usually much nicer and better made than the cheaper chain store decorations, but still many people are not inclined to spend a large amount on something they only have on display for maybe a month, thats highly likely to be broken by something heavy being dropped on it during the course of the year whilst it's packaged up in the attic.
So considering that we will be making ours from old necklaces and bracelets which will look hopefully quite old fashioned and retro we will need to be very low cost to compare with other sellers.
generally I think that most of our stock will probably end up being bought and transfomed into jewelrey by other people, which isnt so bad really.

Ok, so this is the second of my posters' I figured out why it wasn't uploading before. So this one is again based on horror film posters, but I did this one by hand so it looks a little rougher. However that being said I do think this one turned out better that the first and it didn't take as long.
As always your oppinions would be welcome.

ok so this is I think going to be the final version of this bloody poster as i am now officially sick of it. i have two others one which i have hand drawn and the other which i have made by putting two images together. oppinions whould be good

Ok, so I'm currently working on all three of my illustration projects as im not happy with my first two and i just keep seeming to fall behind. Ihave no idea what im doing for the third. Along with that i still have an essay to write on how designers have shown there oppinions on issues and beliefs raised today, which i have really no clue about. Added to that i have no money and no job so getting anything printeted or even getting anywhere is proving really hard. that and my sis has just been in hospital for some very personal reasons, i think right now i'd like to just curl up in a ball and wait for everything to stop being quite so horrible.
Anyway i will be putting up my efforts on work within the next few days so people can see i am actually trying.

So, I finally have this thing working, so I shall be uploading mainly uni stuff and any personal projects on which I could use someone else's oppinion on. Do feel free to comment on anything on here, even the lack of stuff as it will encourage me to work harder.
